Goychay-Sud milk processing enterprise, a big producer of dairy products in Azerbaijan, increased the production volumes by more than 20 percent since the beginning of this year, a source in Goychay-Sud told Trend.
“An increase in the production volumes of the enterprise was facilitated by the opening of a new cheese production facility,” the source added. “The enterprise plans to open another facility producing dairy products till the end of this year.”
The production volume of dairy products amounted to 780 tons last month compared to 700-ton monthly production from January through February 2019.
The enterprise plans to increase the production volumes up to 800-850 tons of products till late 2020.
In accordance with the indicators of last month, the total volume increased thanks to cheese production. Presently, 580 tons of cheese are produced per month at the enterprise.
The dairy products of the company are fully sold in the domestic market, in Goychay district, as well as in Baku and Sumgayit cities.
The enterprise produces milk and dairy products, as well as fruit juices, which are mainly exported abroad.
The Goychay-Sud enterprise has been operating in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district for 20 years.
