BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23
By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
Sales of Beko Georgia have increased by 2-3 percent in July 2020, compared to the same period of the previous month, said General Director of Beko Georgia Mehmet Melek, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As Melek said, good pace of sales during the summer season is mainly maintained at the expense of the sale of air conditioners and refrigerators.
"We have suspended operating for 2 months during the COVID-19 pandemic. When the economy opened, we had returned to normal work. Even now, sales go at a normal pace," he said.
According to Melek, the load is the same as it has been last year.
"Sales up by 2-3 percent compared to the previous year. Now, it is the summer season and there is no decrease in sales due to the demand for refrigerators and air conditioners. However, we should observe a period from August 15 to September 15, how the company will continue operating. This period is important for determining long-term expectations”, declared director of Beko-Georgia.
