Economy sectors which halted activities over COVID quarantine to be restored in Kazakhstan

Systematic preparatory work to restore the functioning of those economy sectors which suspended their activities over quarantine re-introduction is to be carried out in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s prime minister.

The topic was discussed during a meeting of the State Commission chaired by Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Askar Mamin on the extension of quarantine measures and preparation for the post-quarantine period.

During the meeting the Ministry of National Economy, together with relevant government agencies, Atameken national entrepreneurship chamber were instructed to develop a set of measures to support entrepreneurs.

As a measure of state support for small and medium businesses (SMEs) in the most affected industries, a deferral of loan payments will be granted until October 1, 2019.

Mamin also instructed to approve sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the work of business entities, as well as to ensure proper control over the observance of sanitary rules by citizens and business entities.

The algorithm for lifting the ban on the venture’s work includes registration of entrepreneurs and acceptance of applications for the resumption of activities on the Info Kazakhstan electronic platform.

Business entities will be issued electronic permits to resume activities following an inspection.
