Azerbaijan exported products worth a total of $9.1 billion from January through July 2020, which is 25.6 percent less than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports on August 20 with reference to the report of the country’s State Customs Committee.
The public sector's share in total exports made up 47.7 percent or $4.3 billion during the reporting period, the committee said.
The share of the private sector (legal entities) was $4.7 million, or 51.8 percent of the total export, while individuals accounted for $35.9 million or 0.4 percent.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 2,356 types of goods, conducting foreign trade operations with 172 partner countries. Most of all, in the first seven months of 2020, Azerbaijan exported oil and petroleum products, electricity, natural gas, as well as fruits and vegetables.
