Russia remained the main supplier of polymer products from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to Turkmenistan in 1H2020, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.
During this period, 455 kilograms of the polymer of ethylene were exported from Russia to Turkmenistan, totaling $2,277.
Also, Russia exported 600 kilograms of propylene polymers to Turkmenistan, totaling $2,698 in the reporting period.
According to statistics, Turkmenistan also imported vinyl chloride polymers from Russia in the amount of 79 tons, totaling $75,985.
Acrylic polymers were also imported by Turkmenistan from Russia in the amount of 207 tons for a total amount of $750,360.
As reported, a large volume of polymer products was exported from Russia to Turkmenistan from January through May.
Russia was the only exporter of polymer products from EAEU countries to Turkmenistan from January through May.
