Russia increases export of pipes to Turkmenistan

Russia has increased the export of seamless pipes from ferrous metals to Turkmenistan by 4 times in 1H2020, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.

According to statistics, Russia exported 15,220 tons of seamless pipes made of ferrous metals to Turkmenistan for the total amount of $18.6 million, which also exceeds the number of exports of seamless pipes made of ferrous metals from Russia to Turkmenistan in the same period last year by 3.6 times.

Also, Russia exported 10,359 tons of welded pipes made of ferrous metals to Turkmenistan, which is an increase of 7.4 times compared to the same period last year. Thus, the number of exports of the above-mentioned products from Russia to Turkmenistan increased by 6.9 times compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $6.5 million.

During this period, Russia also exported more than 70,000 tons of welded pipes made of ferrous metals to Turkmenistan with a diameter of more than 406.4 millimeters, for a total of $96.3 million.

Also, 50 tons of pipe fittings made of ferrous metals were exported from Russia and Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, totaling $201,896 in 1H2020.

Thus, the share of Kazakhstan in the above-mentioned exports is $53,098, and the share of Russia is 148,797.
