Linde looking for new opportunities in Kazakhstan's oil & gas sector

Linde company which is a leading global industrial gas and engineering company is looking for new opportunities in Kazakhstan, the company official told Trend.

The company official said that currently, Linde operates in the chemical industry of Kazakhstan.

"We supply many industries with our products: chemical, metallurgical, manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, oil and gas, and many others," the official said.

Recently Linde launched the second air separation unit (ASU) to supply Kazakhstan’s ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC with industrial gases in the country’s Temirtau city.

The Linde company signed an investment contract with the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and received preferences.

The implementation of the project has become a significant milestone for the chemical industry of the Karaganda region in terms of investments and the use of high technologies.

Currently, the company is looking to further cooperate with Kazakhstan.

"The company is ready to invest in new projects. We are looking for new opportunities in a few directions related to healthcare infrastructure, food and beverage industries, oil and gas projects, etc," the official said.

Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2019 sales of $28 billion (€25 billion).
