The export of Iran's steel products amounted to 124,000 tons in total, during the first 5 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
According to the report, this is a decrease of 49 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“In addition, Iran imported 336,000 tons of steel products within five months, and this is an increase of 81 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the report added.
Iran's raw steel exports during the reporting period amounted to 2.21 million tons, and this a decrease of 18 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
