The foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic totaled $328.1 million from January through August 2020, which is by $2.6 million more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the monthly report of the State Statistics Committee of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In the structure of the foreign trade turnover, more than $288 million accounted for the export, which also rose by $2.7 million for the year.
The share of export amounted to 87.9 percent of the volume of foreign trade turnover.
Import to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during the first eight months of 2020 amounted to $39.6 million, having decreased by $12,000 compared to the same period of last year.
The share of imports in the total turnover increased by 0.6 percentage points, up to 12.1 percent of the total volume.
The balance of the foreign trade turnover decreased by 0.6 percent, remained positive, reaching $247.9 million.
