Russia exported 2,100 tons of sausages to Azerbaijan from January through August 2020, Trend reports citing the Federal Center for Export Development of Agricultural Products of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
Over the first eight months of 2020, Azerbaijan purchased sausages worth $5.4 million from Russia.
The volume of sausages export from Russia to Azerbaijan for the reporting period increased by 39 percent compared to the same period of 2019, said the federal center.
Russia exported 26,000 tons of sausages and similar products in the reporting period which is 36 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
From January through August 2020, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to over $1.71 billion. At the same time, the specific share amounted to 10.34 percent.
The bulk of Azerbaijan’s product import for the specifying period accounted for Russia. At the same time, Azerbaijan’s import of Russian products made up over $1.24 billion, the specific share of the total import amounted to 18.67 percent.
