Value of goods exported from Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 21

A total of $811 million worth of goods were exported from the Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeastern Iran) during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), the Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Davoud Shahraki said, Trend reports referring to the organization.

Shahraki noted that the exports from the province increased by 74 percent in terms of value compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The chairman added that 594,000 tons of goods were exported from the Sistan and Baluchestan Province during the reporting period.

“The exported goods were mainly construction materials, fruits, peas, dates and vegetables, gas, sulfur, washing powder, bitumen, ceramics, and etc.,” the report said.

Shahraki emphasized that the good were mainly exported to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Kuwait and the UAE over 6 months.
