Azerbaijan AzerGold CJSC mining company and TUV Austria Azerbaijan LLC signed a contract worth over 18,880 manat ($11,105), Trend reports with reference to the ‘Electronic Procurement’ portal.
According to the portal, the winner of the tender announced by AzerGold to attract audit services for monitoring compliance with the requirements of international standards (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, and ISO 45001: 2018) in Azerbaijan has been determined.
By the decision of the tender commission, the TUV Austria Azerbaijan LLC was selected as the winner of the tender, the portal noted.
In accordance with the order of the president of Azerbaijan dated August 6, 2020, AzerGold CJSC, within the preparation of the primary assessment document for the re-commissioning of the Dashkasan iron ore deposit, has started geophysical research and geological exploration. The deposit with reserves in the volume of 350 million tons of ore was continuously operated from 1954 to 1994, during which 92 million tons of minerals were extracted.
