Ukrainian companies will participate in electronic trading on the Uzbek commodity exchange, Trend reports referring to the press service of Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan.
Meetings were organized with representatives of Ukrainian companies with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine, as a result of which a number of documents were signed.
In particular, the Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan JSC signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Millers of Ukraine Union, which provides for the participation of members of the union in electronic trading on the Uzbek platform.
In addition, a Memorandum was signed with Chumak CJSC Swedish-Ukrainian food processing company, which defines the mechanisms for setting prices, mutual settlements, and delivery of goods when the parties conduct auctions.
Also, a Memorandum on the sale of Ukrainian sugar and products from it in Uzbekistan was signed with Panda LLC - a leading sugar producer in Ukraine.
The signed documents will allow the import of food products to Uzbekistan in accordance with exchange mechanisms and will contribute to maintaining price stability for this type of goods.
