The import of products from Austria to Azerbaijan on an annualized basis decreased from $62.3 million to $52.8 million (15.2 percent) from January through October 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistical bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
The share of Austria in total import of Azerbaijan amounted to 0.6 percent of the total volume from January through October 2020 compared to 0.54 percent in the same period of last year.
The export from Azerbaijan to Austria amounted to $104.4 million from January through October 2020, while a year earlier this figure was $185.6 million.
The share of Austria in the total export of Azerbaijan decreased from 1.1 percent to 0.85 percent.
The volume of foreign trade operations between Azerbaijan and Austria amounted to $157.25 million from January through October 2020, which is 36.6 percent less compared to the same period of last year.
Thus, the balance of foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Austria remained positive over the reporting period, amounting to $51.6 million.
Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to more than $21 billion from January through October 2020, which is 25.7 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
