Iran issues licenses for setting up enterprises in Bushehr Province

As many as 165 enterprises were licensed to be setting up in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through December 20, 2020), said Hossein Hosseini, Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province, Trend reports citing the organization.

According to Hosseini, the number of issued licenses increased by 40 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Hosseini added that 17.6 trillion rials (about $420 million) is to be invested for the establishment of these enterprises.

The chairman emphasized that the making of investments over the 9 months, increased by 110 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“In general, 4,810 people will be employed with the establishment of these enterprises. This is an increase of 105 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year,” he said.

In total, 589 enterprises were licensed to be established by the end of 9th month (December 20, 2020). About 21.2 trillion rials (about $505 million) is to be invested in these enterprises, and about 20,000 people will be employed, as result.
