About 5,790 licensed enterprises launched in Iran during the 10 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through January 20, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the statistics, the number of enterprises launched in Iran over the reporting period increased by 7.8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, 5,370 enterprises were licensed to be launched in the same period last Iranian year.
“A total of 1.74 quadrillion rials (about $41.4 billion) were spent on the launch of these enterprises within 10 months. This is an increase of 299 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. While in the same period last Iranian year, about 436 trillion rials (about $10.3 billion) were spent on the launch of enterprises in Iran,” the statistics said.
More than 109,000 people were provided with jobs with the launch of the enterprises in Iran in 10 months. The employment increased by 28 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, about 85,700 people were employed in the same period last Iranian year, the statistics said.
