Iran's Pars Khodro automaker boosts manufacturing

The car manufacturing of Iran’s Pars Khodro Automaker Company increased by 38.6 percent in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020), reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

According to the report, the company manufactured 8,925 cars during the first month. However, 4,637 cars had been manufactured in the same month last Iranian year.

“So, the company manufactured 7,070 “Quick 200” car over the 1st month. While in the same month last Iranian year, 2,263 units of “Quick 200” car had been manufactured,” the report said.

During the first month, the company manufactured 1,185 “Quick” cars. There was no manufacturing of this car in the same month last Iranian year, the report said.

According to the report, the manufacturing of “Saina 200” amounted to 670 cars in the 1st month of current Iranian year. There was no manufacturing of this car in the same month last Iranian year.

“In addition, the company did not manufacture “Brilliance”, “Renault” and “Pride X100” cars over the first month. While in the same month last Iranian year, 179 “Brilliance” cars, 665 “Renault” cars and 1,530 “Pride X100” cars had been produced,” the report said.

The Pars Khodro Automaker Company sold 5,055 cars worth 4.3 trillion rials (about $103 million) in Iran during the 1st month of the current Iranian year.
