IRICA discloses number of countries trading with Iran

Iran exported goods to 143 countries and imported goods from 123 countries in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration’s website.

According to Latifi, Iran exported about $35 billion worth of goods to 143 countries and imported $38.9 billion worth of goods from 123 countries over last Iranian year.

Latifi added that the top three countries to which Iran exported the most were China ($9.07 billion), Iraq ($7.44 billion) and the UAE ($4.66 billion).

The spokesman added that the top three countries to which Iran imported the most were China ($9.84 billion), the UAE ($9.75 billion) and Turkey ($4.4 billion).

"About 50 percent of Iran's total exports were petrochemicals and oil products, 20 percent - mining materials, 18 percent - agricultural and food products, about 10 percent - industrial products, more than 1 percent gas condensate and handicrafts," he said.
