The Turkmen Zamana milk and dairy product manufacturing enterprise looks to expand production, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.
The company processes 10 tons of milk daily and manufactures such types of dairy products as yogurt, cream, cottage cheese, butter, and other sort of cheese.
The company was founded in 2016, and employs more than 100 people.
The sectoral structure of Turkmenistan's agriculture is expanding due to the development of entrepreneurship, which accounts for 83 percent of the country's livestock production. The country is creating new conditions for the activation of the farm business in meat and dairy production.
Thus, 208 members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were allocated land plots for the construction of livestock and poultry farms in 2020.
