Exports of copper and copper products from Azerbaijan amounted to $16.8 million in the first four months of 2021, which is 3 times, or $11.3 million more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistical bulletin of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
The share of these products in total Azerbaijani exports, having increased by 0.18 percent over the year, reached 0.27 percent, the SCC said.
“At the same time, Azerbaijan reduced imports of copper and copper products by 15.8 percent, or by $1.39 million - to $7.42 million. The share of these products in the total imports of Azerbaijan amounted to 0.21 percent, while a year earlier thus figure was 0.26 percent,” the report said.
Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the first 4 months 2021 approached $9.9 billion. Of these, exports accounted for $6.36 billion (64.33 percent), and imports - $3.53 billion (35.67 percent).
