All cities in Georgia will have round-the-clock water supply by 2025, and in 2030, the entire population of the country will have full access to licensed and high-quality water supply, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said, Trend reports via Georgian media.
He made the remark during the presentation of the annual report to the parliament.
According to the head of government, support for high-mountain settlements will continue.
“Revenues from ecotourism in protected areas should quadruple. The European Water Management System will be implemented throughout our country. We must improve the ecological state of our rivers, ensure the rational use of water," he said.
With the right investments, we will improve the condition of state and international roads,” Garibashvili said.
According to Garibashvili, 31 billion lari ($9.8 billion) will be spent on infrastructure projects in the coming years.
