Iran reveals export goods' value of Khorasan Petrochemical Complex

The CEO of Iran`s Khorasan Petrochemical Complex Alireza Babazadeh said announced that over $20 million of products have been exported abroad in first three months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), Trend reprots via IRNA.

"In total, in spring, manufacturing of chemical products in Khorasan Petrochemical Industrial Complex reached 257,000 tons, which increased by 58 percent compared to the same period last year,” Babazadeh said.

“In the same period, about 160,000 tons of urea products were manufactured by the complex, which is a 32-percent increase compared to the nominal capacity,” he said.

He went on to say that increasing the amount of production has caused a 35-percent increase in the amount of income and profit compared to the forecast plan.”

“The company hit the record of the highest urea export sales rate,” he said adding that the company's foreign exchange earnings experienced a growth of 120 percent in the first three months of the year, compared to the same period last year.
