Georgia shares data on Domestic Producer Price Index for industrial products

The Domestic Producer Price Index for Industrial Products (DPPI) increased by 0.2 percent in June 2021 compared to the previous month, Trend reports via the Geostat.

In the mentioned period the prices for manufactured products increased by 1 percent.

Compared to June 2020 the DPPI increased by 19.7 percent.

From January through June 2021 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled $1.88 billion, 25.2 percent higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 73.1 percent and amounted to $1.37 billion, 27.6 percent higher to the same period of 2020.

From January through June 2021 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 79.8 percent. The top partners were China ($274 million), Russia ($239.5 million) and Turkey ($155.6 million).

In the reporting period copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling $391 million, or 28.4 percent of total exports. The exports of ferroalloys totaled $186.3 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 13.5 percent.

The exports of wine of fresh grapes occupied the third place standing at $103.4 million and constituting 7.5 percent of the total exports.
