About 30 facilities in Iran’s mining sector will be launched by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2022), the Head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Vajihollah Jafari said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
According to Jafari, these facilities are in the fields of steel, copper, lead, zinc, gold, antimony, ferrochrome and others.
The official added that the facilities to be commissioned include Shadegan Steel Company's briquette plant, steel concentrate plant, Hird gold plant and others.
“In total, about $1.92 billion will be spent on these facilities and 4,700 people will be employed in result,” he said.
