Local Georgian enterprise Delta Textile creates high-quality products for the country's army, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As he noted, that it is a very successful project which serves our praiseworthy army.
"There are about 450 employees in this factory, who create these very high-quality products for our army. As you know, there was a problem of quality and supply in general over the years and this problem has been completely eliminated,” Garibashvili said.
Delta Textile is equipped with Italian and Japanese sewing machines. The enterprise along with the Georgian troop’s uniforms produces combat equipment, raincoats, wind jackets, hats, gloves, backpacks/bags, and sportswear.
The state-owned Delta Textile purchased a 49 percent share of a large Georgian textile company Geomtex which has been operating on the European market for about a year for the development of the project.
Delta Textile production operates on the base of the country’s largest textile factory which was founded in 2015.
