The activity of 17 industrial enterprises in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) have been restored from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to November 15, Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Hormozgan Province, Khalil Ghasemi said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
The chairman noted that 156 people were provided with jobs, by resuming the activity of enterprises for the reporting period.
Ghasemi also added that 123 billion rials (about $2.93 million) has been spent in this regard.
“Over previous years, these enterprises ceased operations due to the expiration of equipment, lack of raw materials, low liquidity, working capital and such other problems,” he said.
According to Ghasemi, banks, the province’s tax department, the social security department, the judiciary and other bodies have played a key role in resuming the activity of these enterprises.
