Iran is taking necessary actions to confront South Korean cargo smuggled to the country, said the chairman of the Headquarters for Combating the Smuggling of Commodities and Foreign Exchange, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Importing parts and components of a commodity is one of the smuggling methods. The headquarter has taken measures to prevent the smuggling through Iran's border, Ali Moyedi Khoram Abadi noted.
The appliances and parts are on the headquarters list to be confronted and prevent any interruption in the market.
The evidence shows that smuggling goods have declined during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021).
Parts of South Korean products are smuggled to the country and sold as final products at the Iranian market.
