TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.24
Economic ties of Iran and Iraq will take a new format, said head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce Yahya al-Eshaqh, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"The countries could jointly invest in industrial cities, since Iraqi officials are seeking to improve their industrial sector and production," he said.
He added that imports and exports between the two countries could be more balanced and sustainable.
Al-Eshaqh added that the private sectors of Iran and Iraq are holding negotiations for possible investments in the industrial sector.
