TEHRAN, Iran, May 5. The Iranian government
expecting an increase of tax revenues by about 50 percent in the
current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022), said the Minister of
Economic Affairs and Finances Ehsan Khandoozi, Trend reports citing
Tasnim News Agency

"The budget law for the current Iranian year (started March 21,
2022) envisions a 50-percent increase in tax revenues," he
said.
He pointed out that the increase will allow to better tackle corruption and deal with non-productive sectors of economy.
According to the official, producers will be considered for tax exemption if they increase available job spots.
