BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) has started exporting intercity buses to Turkmenistan, as of May 3, 2022, Trend reports citing the group’s official website.
According to the report, the company has already delivered several intercity buses to Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
Iran's bus exports to Turkmenistan are carried out based on a quadripartite memorandum between the Turkmenistan Railways, Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Islamic Republic of Iran Railways and the Iran Khodro Company.
Meanwhile, in the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Iran Khodro Company’s various vehicles export will increase by 300 percent compared to last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022) and will be at least 15,000 units.
