TEHRAN, Iran, June 22. The Iranian government's priority is to curb the high inflation rate, said Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ehsan Khandozi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Following the government's efforts, the inflation rate has dropped from 59 to 46 percent. The plan is to stabilize macroeconomics and prepare for reforms and economic development," he said.
He pointed out that the administration seeks to support production and investments, to reduce the growing inflation and control the budget deficit.
