Iran to export medicine to eight countries

TEHRAN, Iran, June 27. Iranian pharmaceutical company, Shimi Daru Kowsar, is negotiating with eight countries to export various medicines, supplements and livestock concentrate, said the company's CEO Bahram Zandiyeh, Trend reports via Fars News Agency.

"The company has ongoing negotiations with Russia, Turkiye, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Venezuela to export medicines," he said.

He pointed out that the company can produce 2,500 tons of supplements and 5,000 tons of livestock concentrate that could be exported.

He went on to say that the negotiations with Venezuela have reached a conclusion and the company will soon start exporting medical supplements and livestock concentrate.

According to the official, the company produces four percent of Iran's supplements and is expected to double production by 2026.
