BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Iran's trade turnover with the Caspian littoral states amounted to about 1.75 million tons worth about $881 million, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi told Trend.

Within three months, Iran exported a total of 980,000 tons of goods worth $405 million to Caspian littoral states, according to Latifi.

“Also, Iran imported 768,000 tons of goods worth $476 million from the mentioned countries in 3 months,” the spokesman added.

The customs official Russia ranks first in Iran's trade with the Caspian littoral states, followed by Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran are in the five Caspian littoral states.
