BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. Iran has recorded an increase in the manufacturing of various vehicles countrywide, during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the statistics, about 370,000 passenger cars were manufactured in Iran within the mentioned period, which is an increase of 5.7 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
In addition, 40,324 pickups were manufactured in the country over five months, which is an increase of 48.8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
At the same time, 1,885 buses, minibusses and vans were manufactured in Iran in 5 months, which is an increase of 147 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Moreover, 12,892 tractors were manufactured in the country for the reporting period. Tractor production increased by 53.4 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
