BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Iran has recorded an increase in the production of various mining products, including coal concentrate, raw steel and related products, alumina and ceramics for the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

According to the statistics, Iran produced more than 817,000 tons of coal concentrate in 5 months, which is an increase of 19.8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (about 682,000 tons).

In addition, 11.9 million tons of raw steel were produced in the country for five months, which is an increase of 9.9 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (10.8 million tons).

Iran also produced 10.7 million tons of steel products within the mentioned period. This is an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (9.9 million tons).

At the same time, 107,000 tons of alumina were produced in Iran over 5 months. The production increased by 3.4 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (104,000 tons).

Meanwhile, ceramic production in the country for 5 months exceeded 196 million square meters, which is an increase of 2.6 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year (191 million square meters).
