BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 11. Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) plans to export 3,500 passenger cars to Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the IKCO, Mehdi Khatibi said at an event in the company on January 10, 2023, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Khatibi noted that the export of the mentioned number of passenger cars to Azerbaijan will account for 50 percent of the passenger cars exports to this country in the past few years.
The director said that Iran Khodro Company intends to sort passenger cars exports to Azerbaijan. So, along with the previous models, "Tara" and "Soren" models are planned to be exported to this country.
Within the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), auto manufacturing of Iran Khodro Company amounted to 460,271 units. This is an increase of 45.7 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
