BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Iran exported 697,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $605 million to Azerbaijan, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Trend reports via the statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
In 11 months, Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan increased by 6.88 percent in value, while decreasing by 16 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, the figure stood at about 831,000 tons worth approximately $566 million in the same period last Iranian year.
Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, industrial products, petrochemical, and chemical products to Azerbaijan within the mentioned period.
Meanwhile, Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Azerbaijan for 11 months amounted to about 716,000 tons worth approximately $637 million.
Overall, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023).
This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
