Iran’s non-oil exports via Kermanshah Province’s customs up

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of the Kermanshah Province (western Iran), increased by 1 percent in value and 6 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Abbaszadeh, the export of non-oil products through the province’s customs for the last year amounted to 6.89 million tons worth $2.76 billion.

The official added that the construction materials, fruits and vegetables, rubber products, etc. were the main exported goods through the customs of Kermanshah Province in the last year.

“In addition, 7,890 tons of goods worth $55.9 million were imported through the province's customs during the last Iranian year, which is a decrease of 16 percent in value and 69 percent in volume compared to the preceding year,” he said.

Abbaszadeh also noted that the main imported goods were aluminum alloy, equipment and spare parts, raw materials, various filters, etc.

There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province of Iran.

Overall, Iran exported more than 122 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $53.2 billion in the last Iranian year, which increased by 10 percent in value, while it did not change in volume compared to the preceding year.

Also, Iran imported a total of 37.1 million tons of goods worth approximately $59.7 billion for the last Iranian year, which is an increase of 13 percent in volume, while a decrease of 10 percent in volume compared to the preceding year.
