BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. Iran exported a total of 5,230 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $31.8 million to Germany, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), Trend reports.
According to the statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil exports increased by 3 percent in value, while decreasing by 25 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last year.
So, Iran's non-oil exports to Germany stood at nearly 7,000 tons worth $30.8 million in the same period of the last Iranian year.
Over 3 months, Iran mainly exported carpets, rugs, various agricultural and food products, etc. to Germany.
Alone in the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2023), Iran exported about 1,960 tons of non-oil products worth $13.4 million to Germany.
Overall, Iran exported 35.5 million tons of non-oil products worth $12.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
This is a decrease of 8.84 percent in value, while an increase of 24.4 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
