Value of Iran’s non-oil exports to Tajikistan up by over half

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan grew by 62.5 percent in value and 45.4 percent in volume in the first ten months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

According to the data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 262,000 tons of non-oil products to Tajikistan, valued at $210 million in 10 months.

Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the exports stood at 180,000 tons worth $129 million.

The main export items were petrochemical products, steel products, agricultural and food products, etc. to Tajikistan within the mentioned period.

In the 10th month (December 22, 2023 through January 20, 2024), nearly 32,400 tons of non-oil products worth $21.9 million were exported from Iran to Tajikistan.

The IRICA’s latest data shows that Iran’s total non-oil exports for 10 months were 113 million tons worth $40.5 billion, representing an 11 percent decline in value and a 9.4 percent growth in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
