The Department for preliminary investigations of the tax crimes of the Tax Ministry identified the whereabouts of some persons hiding themselves from the investigation bodies and charged with the tax evasion and strengthened operative and search measures on their detention. These persons were announced in search since the start of the year till 20 September 2005, the Tax Ministry told Trend. 42 persons were found and delivered to the investigation bodies.
Among the detained are Togik Kyazimov, evading the tax payments to the state budget in the amount of 11,4 billion AZM, Djeyhun Museyibov who evaded to pay 6 billion AZM, Hikmet Tagiyev - 1,9 billion AZM, Djahangir Abbasov - 1,4 billion AZM, Nazim Gasimov - 1,3 billion AZM, Rustam Manafov -1,1 billion AZM, Ruslan Aliyev - 998 million AZM.
The Tax Ministry noted, from the persons wanted 6 of them came to the Department voluntarily. It became possible at the result of carrying out of explanatory works, held with the close relatives of these people. The measures on search of persons are carried on by the Department in accordance with the law.
