The Azerbaijani Fund for Facilitating of Export and Investments (Azpromo) prepares for the Azerbaijani-Kazakh business forum. “The forum is planned in January,” Emil Majidov, the President of Azpromo, told Trend.
“Around 8 Azerbaijani companies showed interest in the forum. We regard Kazakhstan as perspective market for sale of Azerbaijani product and we are ready to facilitate development of the relations between the businessmen of the countries,” Majidov stressed.
Holding of the forum is related to the decision of the Bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the Kazakh embassy in Azerbaijan said.
“The forum is due to be staged till the next meeting of the commission in order to give an opportunity to businessmen to draw up proposals for consideration at the meeting,” the Kazakh embassy underlined.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the goods turnover between the countries comprised $61,495,100 with $11,321,100 export and $38,852,900 red ink.
