Koroglu oil loading tanker, build by an order from Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping (KASPAR) was launched by the Red Sormovo factory, part of the MNP group, MNP press-release told Trend. After the launching tanker will be moored and building procedures will be finalized, customer will receive the tanker in June-July 2006.
The document states, that the tanker is the fourth vessel of the 19619 project, build by the factory in accordance with contract signed in October 2002. The leading vessel President Heydar Aliyev was sent to the customer in September 2004 and the vessel Babek in November 2004. Another contract for 2 more oil-loading tankers building in the 19619 project for KASPAR was signed on January 2005. And the third vessel Shah Ismayil Khatai was sent to KASPAR in October last year.
This is the river-sea class tanker, equipped with 12 loading and one sedimentary tanks, it has the water ballast tanks in the double deck and a double bottom. Its length is 152m, width- 17,30m, board height- 10,5m, immersion 6,99m, speed with the full load- 10 knots. Tanker ` s deadweight 13,000 tons is a maximum one for the vessel designed
to for the Caspian Sea without the change of the port installations.
Vessel is capable to work in a different weather conditions, in the regions with the medium-cold sea climate, 20 days autonomy of cruising, is designed for the transportation of the crude oil and oil products, with the steam flash temperature of less than 60п'°РЎ. Several types of oil products can be loaded during the one trip. The vessel is of РљРњ Р›1 I I Рђ1 of the Russian Marine Navigation Register.
The tanker of the similar type Dede Qorgud will be launched in August, also build by the Red Sormovo exclusive project, it will arrive to Baku in October.
