With the purpose of drawing the land register project, extended mission of the World Bank, headed by land administration expert Gavin Adlington is arriving June 10 in Baku, Trend reports with reference to WBs Baku office.
The mission includes experts in different spheres as the project beneficiary is State Service for Realty Register, State Land and Cartography Committee, State Privatization Committee and Ministry of Justice. The mission is starting its work June 13.
Prior to the arrival of the mission, it was suggested to execute the action plan covering obtaining information from state organizations regarding their needs and related statistical figures.
The project is prepared within 6 months. WB intends to discuss it at the Council of directors in early 2007, though the government sated its confidence in acceleration of this project and its approval till the end of 2006.
