New dry cargo vessel for Palmali launched September 15

The seventh dry cargo vessel is about to get launched at Volgograd shipyard by the order of Palmali group, Trend reports with reference to Palmali.

The vessel, named Zarifa Aliyeva, is launched September 15 this year. The vessel deadweight is 6,970 ton, length 139.6m, width 16.5m, deck height 6m and draft 4.6m

Having been launched June 24 this year in Volgograd, vessel Mirjalal Pashayev is currently heading for Taganrog to make her first passage.

Palmali also keeps building Heydar Aliyev type vessels. At the moment five dry cargo vessels are being built in Nizny Novgorod at Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard. The first vessel, Mirzaga Khalilov, is launched in mid-September 2006.

Palamli is a shipping company that handles cargos in Mediterranean, Caspian and Black seas. Besides, the company is a transportation leader in internal Russian ports. The company operates a fleet of over 120 vessels.
