Growth Rates of UniBank's Portfolio Surpassed Forecasts

UniBank has gone over the forecast indicator of its credit portfolio. On November 1, 2006, the Bank has reached the schedule on amount of the credit portfolio that was fixed for the end of the year. In comparison with the beginning of the year, the total volume of the Bank credit portfolio has increased by 78.4%, and practically doubled to 91.9%, since November 1, 2005, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Bank.

Credit activity is one of the key directions of any banking business development. In this conection, the high growth rate of UniBank portfolio is the result of the successful implementation of the thoroughly thought-out credit policy, Faig Husseynov, President of the Bank pointed out.

The growth rates of the Bank credit portfolio generaly surpass the average indicator. Over 9 months of the current year, the credit portfolio of the Comercial Bank UniBank has increased by 70.5%, which surpasses the general growth rate of this indicator in the country in two times (39.8%).

In comparison with the third quarter of 2005, to November 1, 2006, UniBank credit portfolio has increased by 94.6%, that is on one and half time more than the general indicator of the growth of credit portfolio in the country.

Today, our Bnak has showed itself as a realible creditor, particularly, after the results of 2005. UniBank had the largest credit portfolio among the private banks operating in the country. At present, we are continuing to fulfill the active credit policy, said Mr. Husseynov.
