2008 Ford Focus' new grille undisguised

(autoinsidernews) - Spy photographers have finally caught a prototype of the restyled 2008 Ford Focus without camouflage over the new grille, which gives the first clear look at the Fusion-inspired face, reports Trend.

While the Fusion and several other Ford products sports a three-bar grille, the Focus gets a two-bar grille, sitting atop a wide trapezoidal air intake. The 2008 Focus sports stacked headlamps, which rise to meet the bottom of the two-bar grill and sweeping into the fenders on the outer edge.

Overall, the 2008 Ford Focus will feature more dramatic and aggessive styling than the outgoing model. While we still have to wait for an all-new Focus, this extensive redesign is an important step.

The 2008 Ford Focus is scheduled to debut in less than a month at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show.
