Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / The Special Commission of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes have decided to write off AZN 979,100 of the overdue taxed debts in the first quarter of 2007 due to 23 appeals of juridical persons. The tax bodies have written off the interests as well (AZN 115,000).
The decision on writing-off of overdue tax debts is made in compliance with the corresponding regulations on writing-off of the debts of privatized state enterprises and the enterprises shut down as a result of agriculture reforms, as well as occupied territories, to the budget, non-budget funds, state enterprises and state banks. The regulations were approved by Presidential decree dated 11 June, 2001.
