Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, approved the amendments to the 2007 State budget regarding budget forecasts.
According to the project, the forecasts over the budget incomes have been increased by AZN 435.2 mln and as a result, the 2007 State budget incomes of Azerbaijan will amount to AZN 5 bln 770.9 mln. and expenditures by AZN 600.2 mln up to AZN 6 314.9 mln. Accordingly the business deficit was increased up to AZN 544 mln which forms 2.4% of the GDP.
The Taxes Ministry should ensure AZN 260 mln of the additional income and for the State Customs Committee the sum of AZN 140 mln. In addition, AZN 12 mln will be received as revenue from Management of the Treasury finances, AZN 15.9 mln for off-budget revenues of budget organizations, AZN 7.3 mln for other revenue.
In the approved State budget, AZN 2 195 mln of the budget revenue will be ensured for profit tax, AZN 1 176.4 for VAT, AZN 575 mln for income tax, AZN 514 mln for excise, AZN 184 mln for custom duties, AZN 18.7 mln for road tax, AZN 123.3 mln incomes from paid services of budget organizations, AZN 12.225 mln for credits allocated from the State budget.
The budget expenditures is planned to be increased to AZN 514 mln 894.200 for the State demands, AZN 812 mln 922.400 for defense, AZN 757 mln 739.800 for education, AZN 278 mln 745.200 for health. AZN 612 mln 788.500 for the social protection, AZN 1 940.9 mln for State investments.
The expenditure from the 'Automobile Roads' budget has been estimated at the amount of AZN 98 mln, Reserve Fund at AZN 154 642 mln, Presidential Reserve Fund at AZN 114 mln and Budget Reserve Fund at AZN 40.642 mln.
