Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Trend corr. P.Aliyeva / A water-pipe is finally to be constructed for the remote Zyuyj village of Lerik region of Azerbaijan approximately one hundred years after discussions first began.
Over the last century, village residents brought water from neighbouring villages. The Lerik region Executive Administration commenced work regarding the project after residents' appeals.
According to Gabil Malikov, the Deputy of the Executive Administration of the region, the region will finance the construction of the water-pipe from Buludul village, measuring 7km in length and 50" in diameter. The construction will be completed by 1 August.
